We are thankful you are looking for help for you or a loved one!

We want you to know there is hope and freedom for you in Him. God is offering you a new beginning!

Step One

A willingness to find help!

Are you willing to invest the needed time and effort into your life to finally get the freedom you need?

Hoving Home is one of the best programs in the world for addressing the needs of women who are addicted to drugs, alcohol and bound by other life-controlling habits.

Step Two

Please contact Emily Raitt, Admissions Coordinator, at (845) 274-3812 to begin the Intake process. Remember we want to help you so be honest as you can with us during the 10 minute phone interview. After that conversation, we will be able to assess your needs and help you!

You are precious in the sight of God and He can change your life!

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you a hope and a future.”

What to Expect

While you are in this program, you are going to find yourself challenged in many areas of your life, as you take responsibility as part of the Hoving Home Family, and as you begin to read God’s Word.  Through our family and Christ’s example, you will discover many wonderful and exciting principles that will help you to live a productive life in Christ.

We will provide you with an atmosphere of love and support in which you will be able to learn about God and get to know Him intimately.  We are committed to serving you, teaching you, and helping you to find strength and love in your relationship with Jesus Christ.  Please feel free to share your hurts, needs and concerns with us, because we are here for you.  We will become like a family to you!

Our program is founded on a family concept, which is designed to show you a new way of life—a life that is filled with great hope, joy and a wonderful future.   As you apply yourself, we believe your life will be changed forever.  The program is designed to increasingly challenge you and strengthen your Christian life.

It is our desire that our Home be a place that is characterized and directed by Christian principles and values, not rules.  As family members, we must love one another, demonstrate respect and cooperation, and meet the requirements, which are critical to our progress and the effectiveness of the Home.

These are our family values at the Hoving Home:

  1. We value Humility
  2. We value Hospitality
  3. We value Wisdom
  4. We value Stewardship
  5. We value Courage
  6. We value Impact

The Alpha Omega Sorority

The Alpha Omega Sorority was established in 2008 by Michele Boghossian. As a California Advisory Board Member, she felt compelled to help women who complete the Walter Hoving Home stay connected, as they transition and reenter society. Alpha Omega’s goal is to help women continue to “Abide in Christ” after completion. The foundational principles of the organization are God, Grace, Forgiveness, Fellowship and Service.

Show your support and congratulate our ladies for completing the hoving home program!

Christina

“I didn't know who I was. Through the love I experienced at Hoving Home, along with a lot of hard work, I finally know who I am. I'm kind. I'm thoughtful. I love to help people. I'm finally free to be me."

Aliza

"A weekend of curiosity cost me 10-11 years of my life. I asked for forgiveness, from my kids also... and they really did forgive me! And we had a good relationship after that."
